    • Wednesday 10/2 – Pack Committee Meeting, 7 pm @ El Charro
    • Saturday 10/12 – Big Cypress District Lion/Tiger Day
    • Saturday 11/9 – Rocket Day (new scouts get a rocket to launch)
  • Calendar Updates for 2024–25
    • 12/8 Parade of Lights
    • 12/4 National Wreaths Across America Day
    • January – No Scouting for Food dates – spring community service project TBD 
  • Fall Campout: November 15-17 @ Galveston Island SP – Look for the sign-up at the October Pack Meeting!
    • Fees:
      • $10 per person – paid to pack
        • $5 per adult/day paid to state park upon arrival (children 12 and under are free)
    • Sign-up closes on Friday, Nov 1 
    • You can camp Sat night only or both Friday & Saturday nights – your choice! See camping flyer for more information.
    • Youth Protection Training (YPT) required for ALL adults attending. Due by 11/1 
    • Medical Forms Part A & B + a copy of shot records/immunizations for youth + a copy of medical insurance card (front & back) for EACH individual (Scout, Adult, & Sibling) attending. Due by 11/1. Each adult MUST have valid TETANUS SHOT date recorded on medical form within the last 10 years.
  • Parent Breakout sessions –
    • New families – Cub Scout and Pack Orientation
    • Returning families – surveys and registration
