SUMMARY:AOL Trail-to-Troop Campout
DESCRIPTION:Trail to Troop is a campout designed to introduce 4th-grade Webelos Scouts and their parent/guardian to the many outdoor adventures of Scouting. This awesome weekend event includes an instruction to patrol-method camping and several Scouts BSA activities. \nOn Saturday morning\, Webelos Scouts will participate in activity stations by run by troops. Parents will attend Scouting 101. During the afternoon\, Webelos Scouts will visit the Troop Fair. Troops will set up displays and activities in their campsites for Webelos Scouts and their parents to visit. DESCRIPTION:Roundtable is a district monthly meeting typically held the first Thursday of the month at Sampson Elementary School (16002 Coles Crossing Dr. N\, Cypress\, TX 77429) to help unit leaders plan and carry out their own program. Roundtable is a form of supplemental training for volunteers. \n  \nObjective: The objective of roundtable is to give leaders program ideas\, information on events and training opportunities\, and an opportunity to share experiences and enjoy fun and fellowship with other Scouting leaders. As a result of the roundtable experience\, unit leaders will be inspired\, motivated\, informed\, and able to provide a stronger program for their Scouts. \nAudience: unit leaders (Cubmasters\, Scoutmasters)\, den leaders\, assistant Scoutmasters\, merit badge counselors\, camping chairs\, volunteers that work directly with Scouts or are involved with planning activities and events for their unit. \nAgenda: district and council announcements\, program planning (pack and den meetings\, troop and patrol meetings)\, training\, networking and collaboration.

DESCRIPTION:Lion/Tiger Day is an event for Scouts in kindergarten and first grade and their adult partner (families are welcome). \n\nLions will work on the On Your Mark Advancement\nTigers will work on the Safe and Smart Adventure\nScouts will play games run by troop Scouts\nScouts can meet firefighters and first responders of Firehouse #3\nNew Scouts of any rank work on the Bobcat Rank\n\nRegistration\nThe cost is $10.00 per Scout if pre-registered and includes a patch and program supplies. There is no onsite registration (register online before arriving). There is no charge for adults to attend. \nSchedule\n\n\n\n9:00 am\nSign-in and Gathering Activity\n\n\n9:15 am\nOpening Ceremony\n\n\n9:45 – 11:30 am\nActivities\n\n\n\nWhat to Bring\n\nScouts are encouraged to wear their field uniform (Scout uniform) or activity uniform (any Scout t-shirt) if they have one\nHealth and Medical Record (parts A &B for all Scouting events) for every participant\nOptional: chair\, water\, snacks\, sunscreen
