DESCRIPTION:Roundtable is a district monthly meeting typically held the first Thursday of the month at Sampson Elementary School (16002 Coles Crossing Dr. N\, Cypress\, TX 77429) to help unit leaders plan and carry out their own program. Roundtable is a form of supplemental training for volunteers. \n  \nObjective: The objective of roundtable is to give leaders program ideas\, information on events and training opportunities\, and an opportunity to share experiences and enjoy fun and fellowship with other Scouting leaders. As a result of the roundtable experience\, unit leaders will be inspired\, motivated\, informed\, and able to provide a stronger program for their Scouts. \nAudience: unit leaders (Cubmasters\, Scoutmasters)\, den leaders\, assistant Scoutmasters\, merit badge counselors\, camping chairs\, volunteers that work directly with Scouts or are involved with planning activities and events for their unit. \nAgenda: district and council announcements\, program planning (pack and den meetings\, troop and patrol meetings)\, training\, networking and collaboration.

SUMMARY:Big Cypress District Day Camp
DESCRIPTION:Day Camp is an opportunity for Cub Scouts entering 1st – 5th grade during the next school year to make new friends\, earn rank advancements\, and enjoy BB guns\, archery\, sports\, skills\, and crafts. \nThe camp is a council camp organized by districts and conducted by volunteers from the local area. \nMany volunteers are needed to make camp a success\, so please consider volunteering. \nAdult volunteers can also register their non-Scouting children ages 3-5 (potty trained). \nScouts in troops\, crews and ships can also volunteer. \nAn adult/guardian must register with a Tiger (going into 1st grade). \n  \nVisit the district’s Day Camp website to register!\n  \nProgram\nIn addition to shooting archery and playing sports\, Scouts will be working towards achieving parts of the following adventures (advancements): \n\n\n \nTot Lot (volunteer children ages 3-5) \n\nTot lot works on their own fun games and crafts\, while also participating in camp activities as time allows.\n\n \nTigers (going into 1stgrade)\n\nDesign by Tiger\nStories & Shapes\nFloats and Boats\n\n \nWolves (going into 2nd grade) \n\nAir of the Wolf\nCode of the Wild\nDigging in the Past\n\n \n\n\nBears (going into 3rd grade) \n\nMarble Madness\nSuper Science\nBalancing Bears\n\n \nWebelos Scouts (going into 4th grade) \n\nArt Explosion\nBuild It\nModular Design\n\n \nWebelos Scouts (going into 5th grade) \n\nEngineering\nEstimations\nInto the Wild
